(Cleveland) On Saturday the Coast Guard continued it's search of Lake Erie in the vicinity of Saybrook Township near Ashtabula for a second straight night last night for a boy who went missing Friday evening.

Boat crews from Ashtabula and Fairport Harbor assisted with the rescue efforts. The Coast Guard also plans an air search using an MH-65 helicopter and an HC-130 Hercules aircraft.

The Coast Guard and multiple state and local emergency responders have searched nearly 400 square miles of Lake Erie so far. At about 9:00pm Friday, The Coast Guard received a report of a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen swimming in Lake Erie near Saybrook Park, Ohio.

The boy had been swimming with others in the area and wasn't noticed to be missing until they got out of the water. Anyone with information is asked the contact the Coast Guard at 216-902-6117.  Get breaking news sent to your mobile phone.Text "news" to 21095.
