(Cleveland) - The man accused of killing a Cleveland teenager 30 years ago wants his confession thrown out of court.

Hernandez Warren claims he gave his confession to police last year despite asking for an attorney.

Police say he waived his rights when he was arrested.

Warren is facing the death penalty for the 1984 rape and murder of 14-year-old Gloria Pointer.
