(Cuyahoga Falls) - An aggravated murder charge has been pinned on 43-year old Jeffrey Conrad.

The suspect is accused of fatally stabbing 40-year old Amanda Russell last week at her home in Cuyahoga Falls.

Russell's body was discovered by her daughter in the family's backyard when the girl returned home from school.

Investigators say they found the knife used to kill Russell in Conrad's possession. He is Russell's ex-boyfriend.

Police say the victim had a protection order against Conrad.  He served time in jail in 2012 for two violent incidents involving the woman, one for assault, the other for domestic violence menacing.
