(Cleveland) Local issues were the main focus of the ballot in this year's general election and among them nearly 200 school tax issues across the state.

The Medina City School district had a tax increase on the ballot that was approved by voters. Interim school's superintendant Dave Knight says the passage of the levy shows that voters care about the district that has been plagued by recent controvery. Stepp has been ordered to re-pay $4000 to the district.

Other schools with levy approval were Avon, and Lakewood. Cleveland Heights had a bond issue approved by voters.

Some other issues approved by voters were the Cleveland Metroparks Levy and a levy for the Cleveland Port Authority.
