(Elyria) -- 15-year-old Taylor Opel, the Lorain County girl missing for over a month, has been found safe and sound in Wayne County. That's according to the Ohio Attorney General's office and state officials who put out Amber Alerts.

The Lorain County Sheriff's Department tells WTAM 1100 that their counterparts in Wayne County got a tip that Taylor and her mother were at a motel in Wooster.  When Wayne County deputies went to the motel, they found Taylor and her mother, who did not resist arrest.

Taylor was at first thought to have been a runaway, but Lorain County deputies investigated and found out that she could have been with her non-custodial mother, who was believed to have had a drug adddiction. It was thought they could have been headed to Indiana.
