(Cleveland) - With the latest federal funding agreement, NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland has resumed operations at both Lewis Field and Plum Brook Station.

Civil servants and support service contractors returned to work at noon Thursday.

Approximately 1,660 federal employees and 1,630 support service contracts at NASA Glenn were affected by this furlough.

According to a release, NASA Glenn is beginning an orderly startup of activities and assessing impacts of the furlough on our NASA missions.

It will take days to get the center fully operational.
