(Cleveland) A burst pipe caused flooding at Tower City Center on Thursday night which closed down the Blue and Green lines of the RTA train service for about five hours.

RTA spokesperson Mary Schaffer says at one point several feet of water was in the RTA waiting area.  She says the flooding was cleared from the area after about five hours, and service is back to normal.

The flood was caused when a frozen sprinkler line burst at around 6:45 Thursday night.   During the shutdown, shuttle busses took riders between East 55th Street and Tower City.
