(South Euclid) - The South Euclid City Council was scheduled to have an open meeting Monday night, its first since twelve arrests were made on Saturday night at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Festival on Green Rd. It did happen after Parma Police received a phone call.

Shortly after 7:30pm on Monday, Parma Police received a call with a bomb threat for the South Euclid Police Department. Dispatchers in Parma quickly relayed the message that the alleged bomb was to detonate in 30 minutes. South Euclid Police then evacuated the building they share with City Council Chambers.

The council meeting was cancelled after attendees left the building. An emergency executive session was called for City Council as bombing sniffing dog from RTA swept the facility.

Parma Police are heading the investigation since the call was made within the city.
