(Wickliffe) - For the 14th year, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland this Sunday is sponsoring The FEST, billed as the largest free, one-day outdoor family festival in Northeast Ohio.

The FEST will be Sunday, August 3, from Noon until 10 p.m., on the grounds of the Center for Pastoral Leadership, 28700 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe. an estimated 35,000 teens, young adults and family members are expected to attend.

Father Bob Stec, who is coordinator for The FEST, tells WTAM 1100 events for the day include performances by Christian rock groups, a youth rally, evening Mass, and fireworks. There'll be a Mom's Relaxation Station with over 150,000 giveaways for women, and a new Dad's Den, where dads can meet former Browns players.

A petting zoo, a BMX show, and over 100 activity tents will also be set up.

Fr. Stec says you don't have to be Catholic to attend, saying "Catholic means universal, meaning all of us are called to come together, so everyone's welcome to come for free."
