Celebrity nutritionist and trainer Marco Borges phoned in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk about how he got Beyoncé to have this year’s most talked-about body.
The “Xo” singer displayed a significantly slimmed-down figure at the Grammy Awards last month after going vegan for 22 days. Bey, along with her husband Jay Z, followed Marco’s 22-day vegan plan and clearly reaped the benefits.
Marco tells us when it comes to getting into Beyoncé-type shape, “It boils down to … plant-based nutrition.” Not only does eating a diet which is plant-based reduce cancer risks, it also helps you shed pounds, Marco explains.
“It wasn’t about the exercise,” for Queen B, Marco says. “It was about what she was putting into her diet.”
