Thomas Markle "Hung Up" on Prince Harry During Paparazzi Scandal Phone Call

Thomas Markle is still stirring the pot with his new in-laws.

In an interview with The Mail on SundayMeghan Markle's father claims that he not only lied, but also "hung up" on Prince Harry when he called to confront him about the now infamous paparazzi photo scandal before the Royal Wedding.

"Harry told me that I should never go to the press. That it would end in tears. He said, 'They will eat you alive,'" Thomas said about the conversation—one of the first he had with his daughter's betrothed—before admitting, "He was right."

Harry reportedly called to ask the 74-year-old if he really staged the photos, to which he replied with a lie: that he "was being measured for a hoodie."

Thomas ended up not attending the event after suffering a heart attack just days before (though some people say he faked the emergency). When the couple called to see how he was recovering, he claims Harry told him "If you had listened to me this would never have happened."

Meghan's father has no hard feelings towards his son-in-law and says he was "absolutely right" to criticize him. He's not mad at his daughter either, but he is still holding some general aggression.

"I’m not mad at Harry. I’m not mad at Meghan. I love them. I wish them well," he said. "But as for the rest of it, f*** it. I’m done."

Thomas hasn't had the kindest words to say about the Royal family, which may the "the rest of it" he was referring to. Though Chrissy Teigen thinks Mr. Markle should just let his daughter be happyMeghan is reportedly trying to coordinate a reunion with her father at the end of the month.
