After a series of storms hit the area earlier this week, Kewaunee and surrounding communities in northeast Wisconsin faced significant damage. The storms brought powerful winds that caused widespread damage, leaving many residents with the daunting task of cleaning up their properties.
Fortunately, another “Storm” brought a positive response to the destruction. Players from the Kewaunee High School's “Storm” football team volunteered to help their neighbors with the cleanup efforts. Their work made a substantial impact, providing some much-needed relief to those struggling in the aftermath of the storms.
Sara Miller, one of the residents that the student-athletes helped, expressed her deep gratitude for the team's efforts, saying that the football players turned an overwhelming situation into a quick cleanup. She praised their hard work, noting that their actions reflect the spirit of their community.
