Siblings from Brockton, Massachusetts, William Fralick and Pamela McClure, each recently won $25,000 a year for life in the Massachusetts Lottery’s Lucky for Life game.
The brother and sister both played the same numbers, which are based on family birthdays.
In the August 25th drawing, they matched all five winning numbers, missing only the Lucky Ball and securing the game's second-highest prize. Both siblings opted for a one-time cash payment of $390-thousand each, before taxes.
Fralick plans to put his winnings into savings, while his sister says she hasn't decided how she’ll use her money. The winning tickets were bought at two different locations, and each of the stores will get a $5,000 bonus.
