So I admittedly know like, .5% about anything UFC and I'm even slightly jealous of Joe Rogan for getting this interview Saturday night. Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis took his pants right off after what was called a "phenomenal comeback victory" and his reason made more sense than anyone can calmly comprehend. The only response that makes sense from us is to appoint this guy as our "I wish" option for President in 2020 and get the dude going viral. Which is exactly what happened.
Also according to Lewis, the moment that changed everything was seconds before the end of the fight when he recalled President Trump had called him a few hours before the fight and "told me I gotta knock this Russian m--- f---er [Alexander Volkov] out so they make him look bad on the news, you know. They talkin' about USA in this hoe".
Lewis also stated if he "made a $50 million payday for a fight like Conor [McGregor]" he'd "cut off everyone and disappear". Which also sounds like the option most of us would go with so he's basically us, just a lot taller and heavier at 6'3" 265 lbs.
