Single mom Nicole Johnson, 29, claims that she was fired from her job as an eduction paraprofessional in May after her co-worker reported one fo her videos as "inappropriate" to the school's administration. Nicole claims that this coworker knew that she was on a "thin line" with school administration and reported it with the intent of getting her fired.

The video showed Nicole drinking Starbucks with the caption "Me telling my coworkers there is no way I can come in early cause I have kids, but yet I arrive with a Starbucks daily."

Nicole said in a follow up video "I put this TikTok out there didn't like think anyone was gonna do anything with it, I didn't think I could get fired because I didn't think it was unprofessional, it doesn't swear, it' snot negative, it's not harassing, it's literally just me being like 'I can't come into work early, but I have a Starbucks.'" In another, she said that the reason she was on a "thin line" with her administration was a series of events that started last November. She was put on administrative leave for three weeks for uploading "unprofessional TikToks" and "harassment of a co-worker." The "unprofessional" videos according to Nicole, were here intending to share her nieces story, who had a traumatic brain injury. She was then emailed by administrators following her return from leave regarding her late attendance, which she claims were a result of her struggle with ADHD and being a single mom. After posting the Starbucks video she was called into a meeting with Human Resources and was shown photos of a screenshot on someone's phone of the video. "I could tell who was doing the pictures and whose phone, and all that, like I knew who it was instantly" Nicole explained. She also noted that the administration fired her for her use of the hashtag #FYP. They claimed it was a "slap in the face" because they believed that they acronym meant "F You People". When she tried to explain that on the social platform it means "For You Page" they insisted that it meant "F You People." Nicole also explained that the reason she posted the Starbucks video was because her job sometimes asked her to come in early and after seeing another video of a user with the same caption, she decided to replicate the video.
