Panic At The Disco Auctioning Off 'High Hopes' Soundwave Print For Charity

When Panic! At The Disco teamed up with Soundwaves Art last year to produce 50 prints "created by digitally manipulating, shaping & coloring the sound waves of High Hopes," they held some back. Now, they're auctioning off the very first print and donating its proceeds to singer Brendon Urie's Highest Hopes Foundation.

".@Soundwaves_Art kept a few of the High Hopes prints back & are now auctioning off the #1 print in the series," the band wrote on Twitter. "Goooo bid - 100% of the profits go to @HighestHopes to support the fight for human rights."

The piece was hand-signed by Urie and artist/Soundwaves Art Foundation founder Tim Wakefield backstage before P!ATD's February 8, 2019 concert in Austin, Texas. At time of writing, the highest bid was at $1500. The auction ends at 4:16pm ET on November 11. Get more details about the auction here and see P!ATD's tweet below.

The Highest Hopes foundation was "created to support the efforts of non-profit organizations that lead, develop, and advocate support for human rights. This is dedicated to all people + communities who are subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation + gender identity," Urie wrote on the organization's website. Earlier this year, he redirected its funds to anti-racism groups in the wake of George Floyd's murder.
