Check out this video of some Cleveland-area convenience store workers successfully disarming a wannabe robber and holding him at gunpoint. Happened at the Convenient Food Mart on Clark Ave. around the Stockyards.
One of the store employees working in the back heard some commotion and took matters into his own hands. It could've ended very badly and we're glad no one got hurt.
(But honestly... I wouldn't mind the wannabe robber getting hurt. What's the harm in blasting off a kneecap or two? That's what I say!)
The ratty piece of garbage that tried to rob the place is 26-year-old Frederick Thornton. He's being held on $100,000 bond. He's lucky he didn't get a bullet in his belly for acting like some two-bit thug.
