The Mediterranean diet includes lots of healthy fats, veggies and whole grains. The DASH diet was created to help lower and control high blood pressure and is loaded with fruits and vegetables. The MIND diets main focus is to only eat foods that benefit the brain and limit or avoid all together ones that don't.

Research shows that this eating plan may help with cognitive functions. Those who followed the diet closely lowered their risk of Alzheimer's by 53% and those who were not as strict with their diet reduced their risk by 35%.

Goodson recommends eating these foods to help boost brain functions and keep your brain on a healthier path!
