A little girl in Ohio saves herself from an attempted kidnapping. Ken’Adi Nash was taking the trash out in front of her family’s Hamilton, Ohio, home when a man walking down the sidewalk approaches her. Doorbell camera footage of the incident shows the stranger touching Ken’Adi inappropriately and then grabbing her hand and starting to walk away with her, but the six-year-old wasn’t about to let that happen.
Dragging Ken’Adi behind him, the alleged abductor takes three steps, and then she screams at the top of her lungs, pulls away from him, and runs inside her home. The stranger walks even faster past the home continuing down the sidewalk. Ricky Nash, Ken’Adi’s father, got in his car and chased after the alleged abductor while calling the authorities.
Police later arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the case and charged him with abduction and gross sexual imposition on a minor. "When the cops put him in handcuffs, it took so much anguish away," Nash recalls. Ken’Adi’s parents are very proud of their daughter and say she did exactly what she needed to save herself. "He wouldn't have let go of her if she wouldn't have pulled and screamed as she did," her dad says.
