Elijah Darius Scott is in jail in Shelby County, Tennessee after being charged with carjacking and aggravated robbery. The victim agreed to meet a man she knew on Tinder as Darius; when she did, she says he climbed into the passenger side of her car, put a gun next to her, and demanded her phone and money. The victim got out of the car and Scott allegedly drove off with her car, her purse, and her phone. She says that after she reported the crime, Scott texted her and offered to sell her car back to her for $500. His bail is set at $260k.
