Elon Musk made the bold move of asking Twitter users directly if he should step down as the head of Twitter, saying he would abide by the results of the popular vote. After nearly 18M votes were tallied, 57.5% said he should indeed step down. Whether he does or not remains to be seen, but, perhaps seeing an opening, Snoop Dogg put it out there in similar fashion: Should I run Twitter?
While Elon may have not done well when he left his fate in the hands of the people, Snoop fared considerably better. With over 3M votes counted on his simple "yes or no" question, an overwhelming 81% cast their vote for Tha Doggfather to take the reins of the social media platform.
So, will there be a changing of the guard? Probably not. Snoop has his hands full as owner of Death Row records - as well as numerous other entrepreneurial endeavors like his "Snoop Cereal" - plus there's that music career that may just get off the ground someday.
