An exotic meat dealer who claims to sell every kind of meat from “A to Zebra” is now boasting a cut of lion meat for the jaw-dropping price of $50,000 per pound. Anshu Pathak who runs the Exotic Meat Market in Perris, California says his customers go wild for lion meat...he just won’t say who exactly goes wild for it in order to protect their privacy.
Is it even legal to sell loin of lion? The answer is yes…as long as it’s not on the endangered species list. Lions are currently considered “vulnerable” but not endangered. If lion doesn’t work for you, Pathak can also offer you turtle meat, bear tenderloin and even some gallbladder of python.
