At Pittsburg High School, in Kansas, student reporters dug into the “credentials” of Amy Robertson, their new principal, but found some things to be “questionable.” One of those things included the “legitimacy of the private college, Corllins University, where Robertson received her master’s and doctorate degrees.” The Kansas City Star looked into the questions raised by the student reporters and found that the Department of Education could find no evidence of Corllins University being in operation. What followed was an investigation by the school and Robertson’s eventual resignation from the $93K-a-year gig.
