A man whose brain “exploded” after sneezing says playing touch-and-go with death turned out to be just the kick in the pants he needed to pursue his dreams. Sam Messina, who’s 26 years old, says a moment during college in 2016 changed his life when an unfortunate sneeze caused him to have an aneurysm, and a dormant blood clot “came out my nostril.”

Messina quickly endured three surgeries to remove the clot and after spending a month at home recovering, he was full of inspiration. Messina revealed, “I was just a different person after the surgery. All I wanted to do was make videos, shoot videos – anything revolving around that.” Messina is currently living in Beverly Hills, California, and says his plan in the next 10 years is to make his company earn seven figures.
