Finally, there’s an ice cream for people with unreasonably expensive tastes. Cellato is a “luxury” ice cream brand in Japan, and they’re now a Guinness record holder for an ice cream that sells for $6,700 per serving…the most expensive in the world. The base of ice cream contains “milk, two types of cheese, egg yolks, and sake leek.” Then, it’s topped with “Parmigiano cheese, white truffle, truffle oil, and gold leaf.” It also comes served in “a stylish black box” and is said to have a “faint sweetness, complex taste, and a luxuriously smooth texture.” At 67 dollars it had better come with a happy ending, too.
