Britney Spears’ bombshell memoir has been halted temporarily…but not by Britney. It seems that certain celebs are trying to put the kibosh on the “Toxic” singer’s tell-all. A source told “The Sun,” that “Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written. There is no movement at the moment, and there are concerns over when it will eventually be able to come out.”

It's still a mystery as to who exactly is putting the screws to Spears and her publisher Simon & Schuster. However, according to the source, “Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers.” Britney has been linked to celebs like Justin Timberlake, Fred Durst, Jared Leto, Colin Farrell, and Criss Angel, in the past. She also worked with Madonna and Christina Aguilera at the 2003 MTV VMA’s, along with many other A-listers.

Spears’ book deal is said to be worth as much as $15 million and though it was previously been expected out this past February, it’s now postponed to some time at the end of this year.
