Think of it like a middle-aged Tinder... A new dating app called WidowsFire has been created for older people who don’t want a big commitment, yet still crave an intimate connection with another adult. The app was founded by 51-year-old Nicky Wake in England who lost her husband during the pandemic.
What’s the point of an app like this? Wake says, "We want WidowsFire to be a fun and flirty, non-judgemental place for widows and widowers to safely and discreetly satisfy their physical needs with others like them on a no-strings-attached basis.” The website is currently up and running and ready for “wids” to make new connections and get their spark back.
