Kevin Federline might still have problems with his ex, Brittney Spears, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to let nasty rumors about her go. “K-Fed” stepped in after he claims he was tied to a report that his ex, with whom he also has two sons, is struggling with a serious drug problem.
Over the weekend, Daphne Barak- a reporter for The Sun and Daily Mail, claimed K-Fed told her “I fear (Brittney’s) on meth. I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she would wake up.” But Federline denies he ever said that and reveals he terminated his relationship with the reporter and her outlets.
"It saddens our family that Daphne Barak and Erbil Gunasti have decided to fabricate lies and publish the heartache our family has endured,” said Federline. “We did allow Daphne & Bill into our home because we trusted them, but that trust was lost and we severed ties back in March for many reasons we choose not to go into here." Britney herself called the report “so sad,” while her attorney Matthew Rosengart called the journalists’ actions “beyond the pale.”
