Sometimes, it’s fun to do things just because you can. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Jalisco, Dulces Mazapan de la Rosa, of Guadalajara, created what’s now recognized as the largest marshmallow ever created. The company’s gargantuan candy creation weighed in at 1,429.47 pounds. In comparison, a Steinway D274 grand piano weighs 1,058 pounds. It took 100 people about 53 hours to create the tasty treat.
