Recently, Gigi Hadid made our news for being the new fling in Leonardo DiCaprio’s life. Now she’s made it again- this time for a very different reason.
Sources say the model was arrested last week shortly after landing in the Cayman Islands. Bags belonging to those in Hadid’s party apparently contained a “small amount of weed and smoking utensils.” Although there has been a dispute about whether the bags were Hadid’s or not, with her name being on the plane’s registration, she was held responsible.
An insider alleges Hadid was confronted about a bribe but refused- a charge the authorities dispute. Hadid was fined $1000 and nothing will go on her permanent record.
