A meet-up at a California beach ended in melee recently when an onlooker got too close to a group of “furries”. A clip posted to social media shows a man filming a group of people dressed up in animal costumes who gathered in Huntington Beach for a “furmeet”. After the intruder refused to stop recording the get-together, a guy dressed in a fuzzy black wolf costume warns, “leave or we will make you leave,” before bonking the gawker on the head with his megaphone.
Fur was soon flying as fellow fluffsters jumped in to help a member of their pack, while another beachgoer jumped in to defend the cameraman. Other beachgoers can be seen in the footage looking on in confusion and concern until things eventually simmered down.
