In the UK, Suffolk police have requested railings be erected to protect tombstones that exist in “secluded locations.” Cops say “disrespectful” people have been known to use the tombstones as picnic tables, platforms to consume alcohol and drugs, and some have even been caught having sex on them. The thought is that the railings would protect the raised tombstones because no one could ever just climb over or under a railing.
