*LIST* The Rattiest Cities In America

Big cities are home to huge skyscrapers, cool museums, trendy restaurants and rats … so many rats. If you’ve ever been to New York City, you’ve most likely seen a few scurrying around the streets or in the subways, but it turns out, it’s not the worst city in the country for them. But Orkin’s annual list of the Top 50 Rattiest Cities has just been released, revealing which one is.

• The pest control company ranks cities based on the number of new rodent treatments they handled between September 1st, 2022 and August 31st, 2023.
• Earning the title of the Rattiest City in the country for the ninth year in a row is … Chicago.
• New York City actually dropped a spot to number three this year, while Los Angeles moved up from third to number two.
