These days, it seems that people can “identify” as just about anything. So, it should come as no surprise…especially this time of year…that one Ohio woman has decided to identify as…a vampire. 28-year-old Hellen Schweizer, of Wooster, Ohio, was first “struck by her connection to vampires” in 2021, and from that point there was “no looking back.” Schweizer’s “go-to look” is “fangs, dark red lipstick, ‘Phoenix Eye’ makeup (with red, yellow, and orange coloring), a white shirt with ‘flowy sleeves’, and a black cape.” It’s impressive, though, that she can do that artistic makeup seeing as though she can’t see herself in a mirror…or can she?
- Reportedly, there are 5K Americans that identify as vampires
- Some of them do drink blood, though Schweitzer says that doesn’t appeal to her
- Nor does Schweitzer believe that she’s immortal, which would be part of the point, wouldn’t it?
