A high school teacher in Arizona has been removed from teaching after allegedly dressing up as the devil and greeting students saying, “Hail Satan.” One Mesa High School sophomore claims his teacher walked into class wearing devil horns and carrying a pitchfork as he gave them the ghoulish greeting. The student then told his dad who reported the incident to the principal. The teacher, who has not been publicly identified, says he was dressed up for Halloween spirit week and that the teacher next door was in an angel costume, adding that "It's truly not any more complicated than that." Mesa Public Schools says the teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave while they investigate the incident.
