After several weeks of investigating, sheriff’s deputies have discovered a massive marijuana grow operation inside a Tennessee church. The investigation was after neighbors complained about a smell coming from the church, according to authorities. Several people interviewed claimed that hemp was being grown in the church. However, after executing a search warrant, cops found about 2,000 cannabis plants inside the house of worship, shutting down “the largest marijuana grow in county history,” according to Sheriff Frankie Gray. One person is currently in custody from the seizure, but more arrests are expected to be made.
