- The best U.S. city for quality of life in 2024 is Ann Arbor, Michigan, which has a quality of life score of 7.9 out of 10.
- In Ann Arbor, 90% of residents live less than a 10-minute walk from a public park, and there’s access to hiking, kayaking and cross-country skiing.
- Boulder, Colorado, home to more than 60 parks and 155 miles of hiking trails, is number two.
