You can get brunch at a lot of places, but that doesn’t mean you should. Not all brunch spots are created equal, but new research from JackpotCity highlights the best restaurants in the country for the midday meal.

• To come up with the list, the entertainment site started with 124 popular brunch spots around the U.S., then analyzed the number of Instagram posts tagged with hashtags specific to each spot.
• California is home to the top two spots for brunch.
• Number one on the list is Malibu Farm in Malibu, California, with 55,866 Instagram posts.
• San Francisco’s El Buen Comer is second, boasting 33,742 posts.
• Tavern on the Green in New York City comes in a close third. The Central Park landmark has 33,688 Insta posts.
• The study also reveals the most “brunch-obsessed” states, based on Google searches for brunch in each state.
• There’s a three-way tie for first between New York, California and Texas, which each have 201-thousand monthly Google searches for “brunch near me.”
• Florida is next with 135-thousand monthly searches, followed by Georgia and Illinois, each with 74-thousand searches.
