Some fans of Target are questioning whoever the retailer put in charge of the recent redesign of their shopping carts due to an obvious problem. TikTok lifestyle influencer and mom the.darling.edit had some criticisms over the store's shopping cart "redesign" for its placement of cupholders next to the child's seat. She expressed concerns about her child easily accessing her drink as well as potential safety issues with small holes on the seat back. However, many online commenters disagreed, defending the cupholder placement as convenient and arguing that the holes posed no real risk. Some also pointed out that moving the cupholders away from the handle would be less practical for adults.
