It’s not often you see a zoo asking the public to help identify an animal, but that’s what Bristol Zoo in England is doing. A trail camera set up in the facility’s woodland area captured a photo of a “mysterious winged and horned creature.” The woodland area is home to numerous wild animals, including whatever this one is.

On its website, the zoo said of its experts that “After reviewing the images they say the creature appears to have four legs and is like nothing they have spotted before.” Some have commented that the animal appears to be a muntjac deer, but zoo officials don’t think it is. If you’re an expert in mysterious creatures seen in the night, there’s a zoo that would like to hear from you.
