Another GRAMMYs is officially in the books! The night was full of big wins, big performances, and big moments. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve got to talk about the big wins first:

Kendrick Lamar won a bunch of GRAMMYs for “Not Like Us,” including Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. Oh and…Song of the Year and Record of the Year! Beyoncé made history as the first Black artist to win for Best Country Album, with “Cowboy Carter.” The album also won Album of the Year!

Chappell Roan took home the award for Best New Artist, beating out stiff competition like Sabrina Carpenter and Doechii. Don’t worry about them though…Doechii ended up winning her first GRAMMY for Best Rap Album for “Alligator Bites Never Heal”, and Sabrina won Best Pop Vocal Album for “Short n' Sweet.”

The Beatles won Best Rock Performance for “Now and Then,” and Sean Ono Lennon, the late John Lennon’s son, accepted the award on their behalf. President Jimmy Carter won a posthumous award for Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording for “Last Sundays In Plains: A Centennial Celebration”…making him the oldest Grammy winner in history. He’s won this award four times over the years by the way.

And you can’t forget all the big performances that took place:

  • A huge performance of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” opened up the GRAMMYs. The performance was a love letter to Los Angeles, which was impacted by severe wildfires earlier this year. Indie band Dawes led the tribute, and they were joined by John LegendSheryl CroweBrad PaisleyBrittany Howard, and St. Vincent
  • Billie Eilish performed “Birds of a Feather,” alongside her brother Finneas. They were back by a giant screen that showed photos of them growing up in Los Angeles. As the song ended Eilish shared “I love you L.A.”
  • Chappell Roan performed “Pink Pony Club” at the big show. She also made sure to bring a giant pink pony with her on stage! A bunch of rodeo clowns joined her on stage as well.
  • The Weeknd ended his boycott of the GRAMMYs with a surprise performance! He performed “Timeless” and “Cry for Me.” This came after Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. introduced the artist, and told the audience that the Academy had worked over the years so it “reflects the entire music community”
  • Charli XCX performed "Von dutch" and "Guess." She started outside the arena while performing "Von dutch." When she made her way and on to the stage...she transitioned into "Guess." And then hundreds of pairs of underwear rained down on the stage!
  • Benson Boone kicked off a performance medley from the Best New Artist nominees, performing his hit “Beautiful Things.” He made his way to Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser’s table at one point….and they ripped off his black tuxedo, showing a shiny baby blue jumpsuit underneath!
  • Doechii kept the Best New Artist medley going and performed “Catfish” and “Denial Is A River.” The performance revolved around a clone factory apparently, and it featured some intense choreography.
  • Teddy Swims kept the Best New Artist medley going and performed “Lose Control” with just a pianist and guitarist backing him up.
  • Shaboozey was up next…and performed “Good News.” Then he went into his crowd-pleaser, “Tipsy.” Cowgirls in purple leather outfits and cowboys in black outfits joined him on stage.
  • Raye closed out the Best New Artist medley with a dazzling performance of “Oscar Winning Tears.”
  • Sabrina Carpenter showed she knows how to bring the fun. She performed her hit songs “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” But she also brought out some old-school wacky antics! She pretended to drop her umbrella down the stairs, walked below the stairs entirely by accident, climbed back up, and more.
  • Stevie Wonder and Janelle Monáe headlined a tribute to the late Quincy JonesCynthia ErivoHerbie Hancock, and Lainey Wilson also performed tributes. Performances include “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Let the Good Times Roll,” and “We Are the World.” Monáe also performed Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough”…and did the moonwalk.
  • Coldplay’s Chris Martin performed Coldplay’s “All My Love” during an in memoriam segment. The in memoriam segment paid tribute to a number of late musicians including Liam Payne, Rich Homie Quan, Kris Kristofferson, Wayne Osmond, Fatman Scoop, Toby Keith, and more.
  • Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars performed The Mamas & The Papas’ “California Dreamin.” The performance was put on in honor of those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires
  • Shakira performed “Ojos Así” and showed off her bellydancing moves before transitioning into the viral “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”

Finally, here’s some of the big moments from the night:

  • Kanye West and Bianca Censori showed up at the red carpet with Censori wearing…essentially nothing. There were some reports that the couple were kicked out of the GRAMMYs…but that apparently wasn’t the case
  • Red carpet reports seemingly snubbed Babyface...because they really wanted to talk with Chappell Roan. They called out to the singer while interviewing Babyface, and he gave them the microphone back and let them talk to her. The reporters apologized to him, but some people on social media have called the incident unprofessional
  • St. Vincent revealed, while accepting the GRAMMY for Best Rock Song, that she has a wife. But she didn’t stop there…it turns out she’s got a daughter as well!
  • The GRAMMYs donated airtime to Los Angeles businesses that were impacted by the wildfires in the area. Highlights included Doja Cat telling folks to check out Orla Floral Studio. Another ad featured Charlie Puth telling people to support Two Dragons Martial Arts.
  • The GRAMMYs also invited first responders and Los Angeles Fire Department members to the show, to show their appreciation for their hard work
  • Chappell Roan used her acceptance speech for Best New Artist to call out the music industry. “I told myself that if I ever won a Grammy and got to stand up here before the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels in the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and health care, especially developing artists,” she shared to cheers from the audience
  • Will Smith made his first return to a major televised awards show following all that drama from that time he slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars back in 2022. He opened the tribute to the late Quincy Jones, calling him a “groundbreaking and influential figure”
  • Lady Gaga premiered a new track, “Abracadabra,” during a commercial break. Its the third single from Gaga's upcoming album "Mayhem."
