A popular social media influencer is reminding us that every body is a beach body if you let it be. Emily Bispo is going viral for a TikTok video she posted of herself lounging by a pool in a bikini, with her belly rolls on full display, but she doesn’t seem to mind a bit.
The 23-year-old’s clip reads, “You should probably cover up, that’s not very flattering.” Bispo looks at the camera, raises her shades while throwing some shade and simply says, “No.” Her unapologetic attitude is everything and Emily declares “It’s hot chubby girl summer, mind ur business,” in the caption.
The self-love and body-positivity advocate’s video has racked up nearly 400-thousand views on TikTok. Emily shares on Instagram that she uses her social media to show the world how she’s “keeping it real, spreading love and empowering all sizes.” She started documenting her ongoing recovery from an eating disorder and mental health issues on social media a few years ago and shares honest posts about her natural body, while inspiring others to love themselves. And based on the hundreds of comments this video has received, people are loving her empowering message:
- “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THANK U FOR INSPIRING ME TO LOVE MY BODY,” one user comments
- “This makes me feel safe,” another replies.
- “You make me feel so much better about myself,” writes one viewer.
- And another shares, “You literally don’t know how much effect u have on me!”
