Bono is taking responsibility for putting U2's album on everyone's iPhone in 2014.
In an excerpt from his upcoming book, Bono revealed it was his idea to put "Songs Of Innocence" onto everyone's iTunes libraries for free.
He says he remembers reading people's responses to the album with one saying "the free U2 album is overpriced."
He said just getting the band's music to people who like, it was a good idea. However, he felt the guilt on his shoulders when the backlash spread across social media.
