Slapped with the harsh reality of irrelevance, “Playboy” finally shuttered the magazine in 2020. Now, a re-vamped “Playboy” is primed to launch, with a plan of taking on OnlyFans. The new online “Playboy” publication is said to be an “entry into Playboy’s creator platform,” which is being sold as “elevated, safe, and exclusive,” in contrast to OnlyFans. To become a content creator on the Playboy platform, creators have to “apply and be accepted by its editorial team.”
