Here’s another example of a fugitive being done in by their own social media activity. Marion Reyes, who has seven DUI arrests to her credit, was wanted by Las Vegas police for allegedly cutting off her ankle monitor. On Thursday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Bureau took to social media asking followers for their help in tracking Reyes down because of the ankle monitor issue. Reyes saw the post, and responded with, “I never cut it off!!! An officer cut it off when I turned myself in. They continue to release me.” The Bureau retorted with, “Then why not turn yourself in now? Let’s get this sorted out tonight!” Reyes turned herself in to authorities the next day after speaking to an intervention officer.
