A woman in Australia claims her vegan neighbor refuses to kill her daughter’s head lice due to a moral stance she has against killing living beings. The woman, who hasn’t been identified, says her daughter is friends with the vegan mom’s daughter and when the lice were brought up, the vegan mom explained, "My neighbor told me she was in the practice of combing the lice and nits into the garden where they had a chance of survival. My jaw hit the floor.”
Experts have advised the woman to steer clear of the lice-ridden family for the time being and to "Quit worrying about your neighbor's (admittedly questionable) parenting methods and focus solely on what you can do to keep your own offspring pestilence-free.”
