Remember the ROUS (rats of unusual size) from the movie “The Princess Bride”? Well apparently, they’re real. A neighborhood in Glasgow, Scotland is considered a “no-go zone” for trash collectors after giant rats said to be “the size of chihuahuas” have taken over the area.

Sanitation union bosses have ordered collectors to keep away from the neighborhood after claiming they were terrorized by the giant vermin. So, where are these not-so-little guys coming from? An official claims, “There is an embankment that runs along the back of the properties where the rats nest. That is what is causing the problem.” As for resolving the problem, the city council says, “We have been working with the local housing association to address this problem.”
