Those gift bags given out to acting and directing nominees and the host at the Academy Awards are significant. Yesterday’s Oscar gift bags had an accumulated total value of around $178K. Inside, the 26 bags included goodies like:
- A $50K vacation at a Swiss chalet (for the recipient and up to nine friends)
- A $10K microneedling treatment
- A $24K retreat at Golden Door California
- A $25K live show from mentalist Carl Christman
- A Miage skin care kit ($515)
- A wine fridge from Thor Kitchen
So, in this regard, even the Oscar losers were winners.
