Everyone has their own idea about what “fun” is, whether it’s hiking, traveling or playing video games. Of course, some forms of entertainment and activities can be pretty pricey, but a new report reveals some of the best places for budget-friendly fun.
- WalletHub’s annual list of the Most Fun Cities in America has just come out.
- They compared 182 cities across the country on 65 key metrics related to fun in three main categories: Entertainment & Recreation, Nightlife & Parties, and Costs.
- Each city is rated on everything from the number of attractions it has to the diversity of restaurants to music venues per capita.
- Las Vegas lands at number one again, making it the Most Fun City for 2024. It’s first for Nightlife & Parties and second for Entertainment, but it can be expensive, and comes in 36th for Costs.
- On the bottom of the list is Pearl City, Hawaii, making it the least fun city in the U.S., followed by South Burlington, Vermont, and Yonkers, New York.

- Orlando, Florida
- Miami, Florida
- Atlanta, Georgia
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Austin, Texas
- San Francisco, California
- Chicago, Illinois

Cleveland landed at #45, Columbus at #54 , and Cincinnati at #15.
