#GoodNews: Teen Waitress Saves Customer With CPR

Teen waitress Sophia Vitale was working at the National Coney Island restaurant in Macomb Township, Michigan when she saw a customer having a medical emergency.

She saw an elderly man passed out in a car in the drive-thru and jumped into action, starting chest compressions on the 80-year-old customer until paramedics arrived and took over.

The 15-year-old learned to perform CPR from her mother, who is a registered nurse, and couldn't be more proud of her daughter’s quick response to the situation.
